Hadden Hill 2025: Birdies, Blowups & Vince’s Voyage into Madness The 2025 season at Hadden Hill is shaping up to be a masterpiece of golf, chaos, and the occasional full-blown meltdown. With leaderboard shake-ups and blow-ups coming weekly, we’ve already had more drama than a Ryder Cup locker room. Gross – The Big Sticks Aaron Tame tops the Gross scores with a tidy 74 off 7 handicap—clinical, confident, and definitely not afraid of the back nine. Aidan Eltham (75) and Barry Carter (77) aren’t far behind, while a band of 77s from Woodall, Whitaker, and Beaven make the top ten look more like a logjam than a leaderboard. Nett – Tight at the Top Four players are tied on 67 for Nett: Tame, Eltham, Beaven, and Paul “22-handicap hero” Chalk. It’s wide open in the mid-60s, with a pack of players just one shot back, sharpening their wedges and their excuses. Stableford – The Free-for-All Kevin Carrigan blew the doors off with 45 points, with Ben Costello (44) and a whole crew on 43—including Cook, Cox-Rogers, Berry, and Carter—making Stableford look like a lottery where everyone forgot their ticket but still somehow won. Hole 3 Watch – Vince Makes History And now, to the real news. Vincent Cooper—a man, a myth, a cautionary tale—has officially posted a 19 on Hole 3 in a single round. No, that’s not a team total or a formatting glitch. That’s nineteen strokes. On one hole. On purpose (probably). We don’t know if it was trees, water, wildlife, or just an inner philosophical crisis—but one thing’s certain: Vince is now the patron saint of the provisional ball. We're now officially tracking 19s for the rest of the year. Vince is in the clubhouse leading that leaderboard... alone, for now.
